Random thoughts from the week… ...
- I have one brother who was just recently sent to the Middle East and another who is on his way soon. It sucks but I am thankful for their commitment and service to our country. Love you both…
- My mother-in-law was in town and we got to eat at Pei Wei for the first time. It is some good grub.
- I lost my phone (Treo 700p) after it was run over by several cars so I am without a phone right now. The most upsetting part is my info was backed up on the 8gb sd card inside the phone which was destroyed, too (*pics*). It’s crazy how lost I feel without my cell phone/palm pilot.
- I was unexpectedly blessed by someone today in a huge way. You know who you are and I am very humbled and thankful!
Living in Honolulu, I have learned some “Hawaiian Rules”. Some may comfort you a little:
- Beauty is internal, looks mean nothing. (Unless of course, you’re talking about a cell phone full of pictures. Never mind, try the others below.)
- Never judge a day by the weather.
- The best things in life aren’t things.
- He who dies with the most toys, still dies.
- No Rain, no rainbows.
I’m sorry for your loss, I hope you soon find a replacement.
