Random thoughts from the week…

  • I found out I’ll be teaching a fitness class this summer for kids to fight the childhood obesity epidemic that’s sweeping our country. Can you believe that over 30% of children (6-11) are overweight and over 15% are considered obese?
  • Gas prices – wow enough said.**
  • Good News: Thankfully I’ve been paying for phone insurance every month. It enabled me to get a replacement Treo 700p for $57 (though it won’t cover the 8gb sd card I had).
  • Bad News: I’ve lost 15 lbs since the end of March (not good weight loss) and my body fat percentage has gone up so I’m starting my new get healthy plan as we enter into June. :(
  • Today got to enjoy swimming, cooking out/grilling, and playing cards with some close friends. It was a great day.

    gas prices!! traded my v8 tundra in on a v4 tacoma 2 weeks ago. preaching to the choir now brother. good luck with the kids. i was a little chubby kid, all started when nintendo came out. thanks santa

    Thanks man. The class should start in July. I’ll fill you in when I have more details. Two classes including ages 3-5 and 6-11.
