Here is an easy ab exercise you can do from anywhere (home, hotel room, office, etc.). It’s a variation of the ever popular crunch.
Toe Touch
- Find a flat surface to lay down on (mat, carpet, grass, etc – preferably not pavement)
- Extend legs straight in the air (as straight as you can – this will challenge the flexibility in your hamstrings).
- Keep your head/neck in a neutral position.
- Brace your abs tight.
- Reach up towards your toes and “crunch.”
- Hold it for a slight pause at the top.
- Then return to the ground keeping your abs tight the whole time (observe pics).
- Keep the exercise fluid (not jerky movements).
