3 ways to help you not overeat̷ ...

Here’s a few tips to help you not overeat.

First:  Start by slowing down your pace for eating.  We often eat way too fast for our body to have time to react (plus if you’re eating throughout the day, you won’t feel so starved).

Second: After your first serving, try to WAIT for 10-20 minutes before getting seconds (or however long is reasonable).  It usually takes your body a little while to realize it’s full and usually you’ve eaten too much by then. So by waiting, you often realize you’re satisfied/full and don’t need the extra servings of food or even dessert!

Third: Move away from the source (table/food).  It’s easy to keep picking at food and eating just because it’s there. Often it’s out of habit / you don’t even realize you’re doing it and leads to overeating.  Don’t trust yourself to stop.  Get up and leave the source!!
