I often get asked something like this: “Well you say to eat 5-6 times/day or every few hours but what am I allowed to eat? Can I get away with this or that as long as I hit those guidelines get those snacks in?” Well instead of thinking like that, think of these times to eat as opportunities to put good or bad fuel in your body. Every time you eat, you have an opportunity to make your body better or worse by what you put in it.
This is similar to that of a vehicle. A car’s performance is often directly related to the quality of fuel put it in. Vehicles usually don’t perform well with bad gasoline. The wrong type of fuel can not only cause a car to not perform well but to not perform at all or break down. Think of how much more important/valuable your body/health is. Now take some time to invest in it. Put good fuel in it so you can perform well and feel good. And remember the next time you eat, you have an opportunity to make your body better or worse.
