			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s easy to have our list of excuses for why we aren&#8217;t taking care of ourselves, especially in the area of fitness including things like:  I don&#8217;t have time or money or energy or I don&#8217;t feel good or my metabolism is slow or I have bad genetics or I&#8217;m tired or I don&#8217;t like to sweat or have bad knees or I&#8217;m too busy, blah, blah, blah&#8230;.</p>
<p>And our excuse seems pretty good until we see someone like Matt Scott  who has a &#8220;No Excuse&#8221; mentality.  Then there&#8217;s a perspective change.  I love guys like this that don&#8217;t make excuses and just go for it.  Props to Matt (and Nike) for the example and wake up call.  Time to suck it up and go&#8230;.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When it comes to exercise, people usually do the bare minimum. Many come to the conclusion that the fact they’re exercising is good enough and they’re content with being mediocre.</p>
<p>The same goes for how people see themselves.</p>
<p>A lot of people limit their potential and rationalize why they can’t lose the weight that they want or can’t reach the fitness level they truly desire.</p>
<p>The usual statements are made…</p>
<p>“I’m older, so my metabolism is slower.”<br />
“I have more responsibilities, so I don’t have time to exercise.”<br />
“I don’t have the motivation and self-discipline I used to.”<br />
“I have bad genetics and <span id="more-1022"></span> my body doesn’t respond to working out.”<br />
“I’ve had kids, so I can’t get rid of fat in certain areas of my body.”</p>
<p>The list goes on and if you’re waiting for someone to validate the reasons you CAN’T get into great shape and reach your goals, well, you are going to be waiting for a long time.</p>
<p>The fact is, these aren’t reasons, they are EXCUSES. And if we had a nickel for every time we hear one of them, we’d be rich.</p>
<p>It all comes down to this–how bad do you really want it?</p>
<p>When you really want something, you usually do whatever it takes to get it…so why with your fitness and your health is it so much different? Could it be that you don’t really want it that bad? You say you want to lose weight, but yet you don’t exercise like you should and then stay up late eating a giant bowl of ice cream. You’ll start tomorrow, right?</p>
<p>Don’t fall into the same old rut, NOW is the time to reach your goals. It is hard work, and takes commitment, but it is worth it. It is something you will never regret going after and achieving!</p>
<p>You’ve got to really want it to achieve it-you’ve got to mentally be in the game just as much as physically. You can’t be “kinda serious” or”unsure” or “on the fence” about reaching the fitness goals you have. You can’t keep focusing on the problem. You’ve got to take ACTION and find the right solution of what will work to unlock your true potential.</p>
<p>Fall is a great time to make new plans and have hope set into motion…stop making excuses! If you want it, go after it!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well for those that like to make excuses about age not being on their side and their metabolism slowing down and not being able to be fit when you get &#8220;old,&#8221; <span>take a look at Jim Morris who would say otherwise.  He&#8217;s an inspiration and has been bodybuilding for close to half a century and shows no signs of slowing down.  And while into his 70s, he still puts most of us to shame. </span></p>
<p><span>Does it come easy for him?  Heck no!  I can promise he didn&#8217;t get that way from spending a few minutes doing crunches or 8 minute abs or from just using something like the &#8220;Bender ball.&#8221;  He&#8217;s worked hard and been very disciplined for decades and it&#8217;s paid off.  But </span><span>there was no magic pill that made it happen overnight. </span><span>He&#8217;s actually still working at it &#8211; 6 days a week. He&#8217;s got no time for excuses.  His health is on the line.<br />
</span></p>
<p><span>So how bad do you want it? </span><span>If you want to succeed long term, b</span><span>e prepared to work at it for the long haul.
